Dancing fun for everyone
Performances
Dance is a performing art: giving a performance every now and then is therefore a given. Every two years, the Chara dance group puts on a performance that all students can participate in. This is a major event for both the students and the audience. For the students, it's a perfect opportunity to show parents and supporters their progress. For the audience, it's an unmissable event. Our performances have built a reputation in Schoten and beyond thanks to their meticulous choreography, excellent technical support, and beautiful costumes.
Dance camps
Chara invites all dancing-loving children aged 5 to 12 to fantastic camps, both during the Easter holidays and the summer holidays.
No dancing experience is required, enthusiasm and a desire to dance are enough!
During the camp, the children receive dance lessons from qualified instructors, interspersed with fun outdoor activities and creative hours. In the summer, we prepare for a fantastic showcase on Friday afternoon. Our Easter camp doesn't have a showcase, but we capture plenty of footage so you can enjoy all the dances at home.
Our instructors prepare a fun program, fully tailored to the three age groups. With us, your child doesn't have to entertain themselves; we'll make sure they have a fun-filled day. Rest assured, they'll go home tired but happy every evening.
Children's afternoon
Every year, a children's afternoon is organized for children aged 4 to 7. It's a fun and educational way for our members to get to know eachother better.
Our dance teachers treat all participants to an hour of dancing, divided into two groups. Once their legs are tired from dancing, there's a short break with a drink and a cookie. Every year, we invite an external partner to provide a fun activity during the final hour.
Spring classes
In May, preschoolers (born in 2020 or later) can come and try out our lessons for free for four weeks.
